Carson City Mayor Highlights NRHA Project


During his 7th annual State of the City address, Carson City Mayor Bob Crowell highlighted the Nevada Rural Housing Authority’s role in bringing workforce and affordable housing to the area through its Richard’s Crossing project.

“The Nevada Rural Housing Authority found a substantial need for additional affordable housing units, including affordable apartments. To a large degree, our efforts at workforce development depend upon our community’s ability to offer affordable housing. Also, in the area of housing — Richard’s Crossing is full and doing well. Nine units are being occupied by disadvantaged veterans.”
