Getting to Know Lindsay Cirone, NRHA’s Occupancy Specialist
1. What do you want people to know about you?
Lindsay: I love to cook. So next time you’re involved in a company potluck or school bake sale, let me know! It’s the most sincere thing I can do for someone. Making a nice meal for family and friends is the best way I know how to show love and appreciation. Plus, I’m Italian … so how could I not?
2. What made you decide to go into affordable housing?
Lindsay: Knowing how troubled our economy is right now, to be able to offer assistance and above all compassion towards someone trying to manage through a difficult time is the most satisfying experience of this job. Being someone that others can rely on for support is what entices me to be involved in this line of work.
3. What do you bring to NRHA?
Lindsay: I’ve often been recognized as a counselor (my mother would be so proud). My clients thank me for always taking the time to listen. Integrity and professionalism are very important traits to me. I try and provide more than satisfactory assistance to my clients. Without them, I wouldn’t be here. So I say thank you to them!
4. What is your main focus at NRHA?
Lindsay: To remain a benefactor of an organization committed to improving the quality of life for so many people. I feel blessed to be able to be a part of a company that is dedicated to “Getting Nevadans Home”.
5. Tell us something we don’t know about you.
Lindsay: I have a star that is named for me. It’s named “Bella” which means beautiful in Italian. I may not have been able to find it on the map, but I know it is there! It’s the most incredible gift I have ever received. And the one who had it named for me will always hold a special place in my heart.
