Down Payment Assistance Grants

The Home at Last™ Access Down Payment Assistance Grant is Nevada Rural Housing Authority’s most inclusive home financing program to date.  You get a customizable grant with your choice of loan types - FHA, VA, USDA, or the exclusive Fannie Mae HFA Preferred Conventional loan.  Only need a 3% grant, no problem!  Need a 5% grant for your FHA loan to cover all of the down payment and some of the closing costs, no problem!  Have your own cash but want all the benefits you can only get from the HFA Preferred conventional loan, no problem!

•  Minimum credit score of 640 (or 680 for manufactured homes)

•  $95,500 income limit

•  $400,000 purchase price limit

•  Eligible throughout Nevada in areas with populations under 150,000

•  Manufactured homes, condos, townhomes, and 2-4 family units are eligible, subject to FHA, VA and USDA requirements

•  Minimum credit score ranges from 640 to 680, depending on property type and loan-to-value

•  $95,500 income limit

•  $400,000 purchase price limit

• Eligible throughout Nevada in areas with populations under 150,000

•  Manufactured homes, condos, townhomes, and 2-4 family units are eligible with a maximum 95% loan-to-value

•  Buyer may not own any other property at the time of closing

•  Cosigners are not allowed (a non-purchasing spouse is allowed)

•  Ask your lender to compare HFA Preferred to see the long-term benefits of this exclusive program
