NRHA Seeking Proposals for Expanded Weatherization Assistance

Nevada Rural Housing Authority is accepting proposals from licensed contractors to participate in the Nevada Housing Division's expanded Weatherization Assistance Program Sustainable Energy Resources for Consumers (SERC) program for FY2011/2012. This program is funded by the Deparmtent of Energy through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) and is subject to Federal Davis Bacon and state prevailing wage requirements. Our service area includes Carson City, Douglas, Storey and Lyon Counties.

SERC measures for single family residential homes inlcude in-home energy monitoring displays (whole house monitors), phtovoltaic (60 KW or smaller) and solar air collectors.
