Heather Simola, Director of Real Estate Operations
Heather’s real property portfolio includes 12 multifamily communities which houses several hundreds of families across rural Nevada. Along with oversight of NRHA’s real property portfolio Heather will also be responsible for engaging with public and private financing sources including U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), low income housing tax credit, bonds, The Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), and HOME funds.
Heather’s real estate industry experience spans 23 years, and in that time, she has acquired comprehensive insight into real estate sales and rentals, oversight of affordable housing initiatives, new home construction and federal government programs. Heather has also been responsible for program and contractor management for real estate operations.
“I look forward to continuing to contribute to the agency goals while ensuring our property portfolio is strong, sustainable and expanding. Providing decent, safe and sanitary housing in rural Nevada is extremely important and I am grateful to be a part of this amazing organization and its’ passion for housing,” says Heather.
In addition to her professional experience, Heather’s educational accomplishments include a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
