PROJECT-BASED VOUCHER WAIT LIST OPENINGS
Nevada Rural Housing (NRH) will reopen several Project-Based Voucher (PBV) wait lists,
including Southgate II Apartments, Larios Arms II Apartments, Mountain View Village, and
Pioche Apartments, starting Monday, September 14, 2026, at 9:00 AM. The wait lists will
remain open until further notice.
Applicants interested in applying are encouraged to review the property-specific eligibility
and occupancy requirements below to determine which wait list best fits their household.
Southgate II Apartments:
This property is located in Carson City, Nevada, and offers one- and two-bedroom Project-
Based Voucher units.
To qualify for this property, applicants must be elderly (62 years of age or older) or a person
with a disability, regardless of age, and must meet applicable income and other program
eligibility requirements.
Larios Arms II Apartments:
This property is located in Winnemucca, Nevada, and offers one-bedroom Project-Based
Voucher units.
To qualify for this property, applicants must meet the property’s 55 years of age or older
requirement, as well as applicable income and other program eligibility requirements.
Mountain View Village:
This property is located in Winnemucca, Nevada, and offers two-, three-, and four-
bedroom Project-Based Voucher units.
Applications will be accepted from households whose size meets the occupancy
requirements for the available unit sizes.
NRH’s occupancy standards generally provide:
• The Head of Household and Co-Head or Spouse share one bedroom.
• All other household members are assigned at two persons per bedroom.
• Household size must meet the occupancy requirements for the unit size requested.
Mountain View Village welcomes families, elderly, and disabled applicants who meet
applicable income and other program eligibility requirements.Pioche Apartments:
This property is a new affordable rental development located on Hollywood Way in central
Pioche, Lincoln County, Nevada, and offers one- and two-bedroom Project-Based Voucher
units designed to serve small families, seniors, and persons with disabilities.
Applicants must meet applicable income and other program eligibility requirements.

Applications will be accepted starting September 14, 2026, at 9:00 AM through NRH’s
online application portal at: www.nvruralportal.com
Applicants must meet income limits established by the U.S. Department of Housing and
Urban Development (HUD) and all applicable program eligibility requirements.
