NRH Celebrates Hafen Village Grand Opening
Nearly 100 guests celebrate the new, 96-unit community in Mesquite, Nev.
MESQUITE, NEV.—Hafen Village Apartments brings 96 new affordable housing units to the Mesquite community and serves working families at or below 50% of area median income (AMI). The property offers 1, 2 and 3-bedroom units ranging from 688-1,176 square feet that include patios or balconies, extra storage and air conditioning. An affordable housing development such as Hafen Village is only made possible by mission-minded partners, which included the City of Mesquite, the Nevada Housing Division, Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco, Wells Fargo, Clark County, Rocky Mountain Community Reinvestment Corporation, and other partners from whom guests heard at the grand opening event on April 23, 2024.
It takes a village.
It takes the commitment of a variety of teams and groups to make affordable housing happen, and without them, Hafen Village wouldn’t have become the reality it is today. The NRH Community Development Department worked through challenges, provided solutions and brought this project to life. Meet this dynamic team:
