Donna Angell

Donna Angell serves as the Weatherization & Home Repair Administrative Assistant for the Carson City and Las Vegas Departments at NRH. In her role, Donna assists Rural Nevadans with applications for Weatherization improvements and  repairs on their homes and rentals. She meticulously reviews received packets, ensuring all necessary information is included, and schedules projects for the Weatherization’s teams. Additionally, Donna handles travel arrangements for all Weatherization departments between Carson City and Las Vegas.

Before joining NRH, Donna worked for the State of Nevada in the Immunization Program, the Substance Abuse and Treatment Agency, and Family Services on Contracts and Grants for 3 to 4 years. Her commitment to helping make a difference in the community has always been close to her heart.

If Donna could build her dream house, it would be a Tiny House or a smaller RV. She values minimalistic living and the freedom it offers, envisioning a life where she can wake up next to a lake, ocean, or campground. Donna aspires to make this dream a reality within the next 3 to 5 years.

To Donna, home means both a sanctuary and a sense of community. Nevada, with its strong sense of care and community, embodies what home truly means to her.
