Payoff Statements

To request a payoff statement, please fax a written request to US Bank at 877-903-6972The request will need to include written authorization signed by the borrower, the borrower’s US Bank account number and/or the borrower’s first and last name, last four of their social, and complete property address. If a signed authorization is not available, the borrower can provide verbal authorization to US Bank by calling US Bank Customer Service at 800-365-7772.

The payoff statement for Nevada Rural Housing’s second mortgage is issued by US Bank. On the payoff statement from US Bank, the amount due to Nevada Rural Housing Authority is shown as the “Recoverable corporate advance balance”. At closing, the total payoff for both the first and second loans must be delivered to US Bank (no funds are sent directly to Nevada Rural Housing Authority).

Buying a home?

To learn about Nevada Rural Housing's homeownership programs, including our new Launchpad first-time homebuyer program, Home At Last, and our Mortgage Credit Certificate, please visit BuyRuralNV.org. Another great place to start is to complete our Homebuyer 101 education course online – it is required to participate in the programs, and it will most likely answer a lot of common questions. The course is easy, educational, and even a little fun! Visit HomeAtLastEducation.org to enroll.

After successfully completing the homebuyer education course, a certificate of completion is available to download. The certificate must be provided to your Nevada Rural Housing lender partner. To connect with an approved lender, visit our referral page at FindANevadaLender.org. Your lender handles everything from pre-qualification to closing.
