Home At Last™ Homeownership Programs
Down Payment Assistance
Home At Last! We know that home is more than just a house. It’s a red door and wide-open windows. It’s cuddling up in front of a warm fire or the glow of soft candlelight. Home means freedom. And home means a better Nevada, for all. That’s why the Home At Last™ team works every day to connect Nevadans with affordable housing solutions that are right for them. We believe that, when more Nevadans are able to purchase a home of their own, we all benefit through stronger, more stable, and economically vital communities.
Nevada Rural Housing provides down payment assistance to eligible homebuyers to help with the purchase of a primary residence. View the available down payment assistance options and general eligibility requirements at HALRates.org.

Mortgage Tax Credits – The “MCC” Program
The MCC has opened the door to affordable homeownership for thousands of rural Nevadans, who are still enjoying the tax credit savings year after year. This incredible program is available exclusively through Nevada Rural Housing and is tailored to provide eligible first-time homebuyers or qualified veterans with an annual tax credit equal to roughly 20% of the mortgage interest paid on the first mortgage – every year for the life of the loan!
If homeownership is in your future, you need to check if you meet the eligibility requirements for this once-in-a-lifetime program. You can only get the MCC at the time of purchasing your first home – don’t miss out!
